THE WAY to Salvation

TELL OTHERS OF the commitment you’ve made, and be baptized to make your commitment final.

These two acts are outward confessions of the inward decision that we have made.  God knows that, “putting our money where our mouth is,” is what makes our decision firm.  Although they are outward acts, these are no less important in our decision to live for Christ, than the inward decision that we have made.  They are, in fact, the first step forward in the wonderful life that you have just begun!

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9-10

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father Which is in heaven.

Matt. 10:32

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38

16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the Name of the Lord.

Acts 22:16
